i'm not going to make a habit of this, really. but there's something about this girl that just doesn't fit, for me. for the record, i'm not some crazy-assed teenage twilight/edward cullen fan, so that's not the reason i don't like her. to be honest, i think it's the converse with that dress. i mean, the dress, on it's own, could possibly be improved with some balmain's or something. it's not a sartorial breakthrough, but it's just alright. saying that, i've no idea who made her dress, but unless it was ms lavigne herself, i'm sure they'd be pretty pissed to see this. i've not even got anything against converse, just never, EVER with dresses. kristen stewart, you are not some pop punk princess 'rebelling' against teen pop, you are 19 year old girl so dress like one!

other than that, though, i like the whole dishevelled thing with the husky voice going on, she's like the female version of robert pattinson. just, hire a stylist or something, i literally cringed. but hey, at least leighton meester (surprisingly) donned something worth discussing:

that emilio de la morena dress is out of this world, she's definitely upped her stakes since that...what she wore to the met ball not so long ago. i realise i'm probably a bit late, talking about the mtv movie awards, but i only saw it today, another few hours of my life i'll never get the chance to relive.
