ahh, this month's list of wants. those ashish wedges are, i think, already sold out but i'm definitely gonna get my hands on a pair of size 4's as soon as is reasonably possible. and the shredded tee from obesity & speed is pretty major, already envisioning what i'd pair it with. come quicker, pay day!

since the second my shiny black, high waisted shorts arrived from the wonderous store room of American Apparel, i've been scratching my head as to how to wear them. when i first tried them on, i'm not going to lie, they were horrific. i decidedly threw them into the back of my wardrobe until a day came where i'd be a little more brave to tackle the near-impossibility of making these things look good. after this, i continued the whole ritual of taking them out, pairing them with something else and being horrified until i just gave up and decided that i just need to diet and they'll look better. yeah, right. that is, until yesterday! after seeing katy perry don an identical pair at V Festival, i've decided i need jewel-encrusted bosoms to make these shorts look amazing. okay, maybe that's a bit overboard, but i'm sure i'll find something sparkly and wonderful. after all, you can't wear lamé shorts with just any old tee..

yesterday, drenched from the torrential rain outside, i finally managed to reach queen st station. i'd missed my train, that i already knew, so i searched for some consolation in a vanilla latte and a magazine. except, upon entering WH Smith, i noticed that Elle had been sabotaged by a despicable act of vandalism. on closer inspection, however, i noticed that this was no accident. yes, miley cyrus was indeed on the cover, and it was intentional. no words can fully describe my dismay, but, pray tell, Elle, WHY? tell me, why isn't this pissing more people off? i'm thinking boycott, this has annoyed me that much.

so, to go hand in hand with the whole lingerie admission, even though it was quite some time ago, i thought i'd profess my love for all things coco de mer. well, perhaps not all, but most. on the ever-increasing occasions where i find it particularly hard to fall asleep courtesy of a flourising caffeine addiction, i also have trouble relaxing, especially when the sun begins to peep out. i've tried everything, but nothing seemed to work, until now! i have found the (insanely obvious?!) solution to all my slumber woes, and it just so happens coco de mer sell and produce some of the most beautifully intricate pieces, all of which make sleeping that little bit more glamorous...

okay, so i'm not entirely naive to think that these are merely sleeping masks, but they are so very amazing that i could probably get over that very fact they were made with something a little more risqué in mind. but they'd serve a double purpose, meaning they're totally worth the £120+ price tag...

so very, very addicted to anything adorned with sequins right now, including my aforementioned leopard print hotpants. strange, i'd never have gone near sequins before, it's a wonder what good tailoring can do sometimes. i have my eye on the warehouse boyfriend blazer next though, and at £70 it's practically a steal. it shall be mines! on a darker note, all i've been doing these past few weeks is work my little ass off, which means vvvv. limited time spent doing much else.

in addiction to this my computer has gone into meltdown mode, which makes blogging particularly tedious. thinking of swapping her for a slinkier, swifter model sometime soon, and what with all these excessive hours i've been doing, i'd damn well be able to afford it.

after a few short months saving like crazy, i plan on making this mines. not gonna lie, it'll take a while to get used to going over to the dark side after too many years spent with windows, but i have gradually Apple'd up almost everything anyway. Safari, itunes, ipod. should be fairly simple, but we shall see. ask me in three months time, and i'll bet i'll be in love. steve jobs for president, guys.

there is one, small consolation to working more hours than i can bear, and that's what happens to my bank account every four weeks. it's been a while, so i decided to treat myself. FYI, those Topshop hotpants are my best purchase ever in life, they are so comfy and, well, sorta badass. i am utterly in love with them, i would sleep in them if i could. which leads me swiftly to my next point. i have just seen Florence's video for Drumming Song and again, i am in deep, deep love. not just with her, because she's a babe in this vid, but 'cause of those shiny hotpants! oh florence, i'd marry you if i could. her crazy imagery and that killer voice is to die for. a whole YEAR i waited for Lungs to be released and i've had it playing continuously since the second i bought it. i command you to buy it!
